出生及成长于中国大陆，在大学本科毕业后从事建筑工程施工管理工作，后于2003年技术移民到加拿大安大略省汉密尔顿市。2005年从麦克马斯特大学MBA毕业后，在当地从事市政工程生产管理及项目管理工作。2017年回应神的呼召，辞去原来的工作，于2018年1月开始进入麦克马斯特神学院学习，并于2020年毕业取得教牧神学研究硕士学位。2019年6月在安省布兰福 (Brantford, ON) 开始植堂事工，并积极开展大学生事工，带领及帮助 Brantford, Hamilton 及 Waterloo等地的华人大学生团契。2022年6月开始兼任加拿大华人宣道会联会的华人留学生事工主任，推动各地方教会的华人留学生事工。黄牧师热心以不断创新的方式从事福音外展、门徒培训、社区关顾、学生及青年事工等。

Born and raised in mainland China, Ken initially pursued a career in construction management after completing his university education. He immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 2003. Following the completion of his MBA at McMaster University in 2005, Ken transitioned into local roles focusing on production management and project management. However, in 2017, to respond to God’s call, Ken resigned from his previous industrial job, and started his seminary education at McMaster Divinity College in January 2018, graduating with a Master of Theological Studies in Pastoral Studies in 2020. Concurrently, in June 2019, Ken initiated a church planting ministry in Brantford, ON. He actively engaged in university student ministry, leading and assisting Chinese university student fellowships in Brantford, Hamilton, and Waterloo. Beginning June 2022, he also assumed the role of director for the Chinese international student ministry within the Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association (CCACA). Ken is deeply passionate about innovative approaches to gospel outreach, discipleship training, community care, and student and youth ministry.

Rebecca Xu 黄徐师母于2009从麦克马斯特大学MBA（医疗服务管理方向）毕业，一直从事癌症临床试验管理工作。黄师母在教会事奉方面主要是支持和协助黄牧师的植堂事工及线上和线下的社区外展、儿童/学生/青年事工等的策划和协调。

Rebecca Xu Huang earned her MBA in health service management from McMaster University in 2009. Professionally, she has been immersed in cancer clinical trial management. Within the realm of church ministry, Rebecca plays a vital role in supporting and assisting Ken in the planning and coordination of church planting ministry, both online and offline community outreach, and the oversight of children, student, and youth ministries, among other responsibilities.
